This was designed for a cool, hip jazz lounge (before swing and jazz became popular again) started by some of my old high school buds. The hands represented the three partnes and the number of fingers each hand is holding up is indicative of the street address -- 241. The tri-colors represent the original stain glassed window that was above the main entrance to the building, which was a very old church.
